Bump Update: K's 30 Weeks!

10 Weeks to Go!!

I'm a little late with this post so I had to improvise and take a photo in my work's restroom. Classy, I know :)
How far along? 30 Weeks (+ a few days)

Baby Is the size of: Cucumber! 2.5-3.8 lbs. And I can totally feel her growing. Little momma is getting big!

Sleep: I am constantly up for bathroom breaks and have been getting up earlier and earlier everyday. My 5:30am ballerina alarm clock was so lovely on a Saturday morning... NOT.

Miss Anything? SLEEP

Anything making you nauseous: Overeating. I have to be careful because even if I don't feel full right away, about an hour later I am so full that my belly gets hard and stays that way for hours which is very uncomfortable. Plus my acid reflux is really kicking in.

Have a bump yet? Yes!

Gender : Our sweet baby girl.

Belly Button in or out? Half in/ Half out.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY! I may be uncomfortable at times but I am so loving this experience.

Total weight gain/loss: 23lbs gained. I'm 2 centimeters under the norm for my measurements but that's because our little one is sideways so my torso is measuring smaller. Once she flips, I'll measure bigger.

Maternity clothes? Yes, and I am in love with my new maternity jeans from H&M. They are so comfy and fashionable!

Stretch marks? Some from puberty but none from pregnancy yet.

Exercise of the week: 2+ mile walks daily

Happiest moment this week: Since this was supposed to be posted last week, I'll back track a bit. My happiest moment of the week was having lunch with my bestie. It was exactly what I needed during a very overwhelming time. She is so calming and always brings me back to reality.

Movement: All day & all night. She's very active which is a blessing.

Food cravings: WATER!

Labor Signs: None yet.

Favorite pregnancy product: Coconut oil

Looking forward to: Last week I would've been looking forward to my baby shower!! Can't wait to share all the deets on how it was! I was so excited to see all of my friends & family. I was counting down the hours :)

Baby Is the size of: a cantaloupe.

Sleep: A couple pee breaks and random tosses and turns. I get hot now more than anything. I keep a fan blowing on me all night while my poor husband has to bundle up.

Miss Anything? seeping on my belly

Anything making you nauseous: still refuse to try spaghetti again. I made it last night for my family while I chowed down on a delish veggie white pizza.

 Have a bump yet? Yup!

Gender : A GIRL! According to everyone else and their mom, I'm having a boy or I'm having twins Oh! And I'm due yesterday.

Belly Button in or out? in/out

Wedding rings on or off? on

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! I have no reason to be moody or sad or angry. Life s such a gift that I don't take for granted. I'm so thankful each morning I wake up. Just being alive is enough to make me happy.

Total weight gain/loss: 30 lbs

Bump Update! K's 29 Weeks!

How far along? 29 weeks!

Baby Is the size of: Acorn Squash. According to my Bump app, she is 2.5 - 3.8 lbs by now. I won't have an actual growth scan unless my doctor thinks it's medically necessary so I'm basing my daughter's size on veggies & fruit from here on out!

Sleep: From peeing every few hours to waking up insanely thirsty, sleep hasn't been so great. Plus, I am pretty sure we are going through a growth spurt at the moment since I am experiencing round ligament pain and exhaustion.

Miss Anything? Hot tea. I could totally use a dose of caffeine right about now.

Anything making you nauseous: Spicy foods and big meals are causing major acid reflux so I am going to try to eat small meals throughout the day and limit my intake of any foods that have an extra kick.

Have a bump yet? Yes! And I can't see over my belly in the shower which makes things interesting.

Gender : Our sweet baby girl.

Belly Button in or out? Half in/ Half out.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but overwhelmed. I'll talk about this in my next post.

Total weight gain/loss: 18 lbs. I am shocked I didn't gain 10 lbs between my 24 week and 28 week appointment, but somehow I didn't. I definitely grew and have been eating more than enough for the both of us.

Maternity clothes? YES! I bought a pair of maternity pants from Target and they are my new favorite item! I will wear them daily if I can.

Stretch marks? Some from puberty but none from pregnancy yet.

Exercise of the week: 2+ mile walks daily

Happiest moment this week: On Sunday we spent the day at this gorgeous park in Bucks County with two of our dearest friends. They were gracious enough to snap some gorgeous photos of our little growing family so that we can document this amazing time in our lives. I have only seen a few sneak peeks so far but we are over the moon with how they turned out! I am so thankful to have these two in my life and can't imagine sharing such an intimate & special moment with anyone else. The afternoon was stress-free, natural, and joyous. I can't wait to see the rest of the images!

Movement: All the time. I am pretty sure she changed positions completely the other night since my tummy did a tumble that it has never done before. It feels so amazing!

Food cravings: FRUIT!!

Labor Signs: No, but I did experience a few braxton hicks contractions after some serious cleaning the other day. But they quickly went away.

Favorite pregnancy product: Coconut oil & my new maternity pants!

Looking forward to: I have a date on Friday with one of my bestest friends who I haven't seen in months due to all of the craziness in my life right now and her demanding nursing school schedule. I love her to pieces & we are long overdue for some catching up! She is just one of those people who you can't help but want to be around and I admire her so much.  I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE HER FACE!!!

Bump Update : T's 31 & 32 Weeks!!

(that's me the week I started my new workout routine. I'm loving it!)
How far along? 31 & 32 Weeks!! Why are these weeks going by so fast? Sorry! It has been quite a busy couple weeks with the kid's going back to school and trying to get back into the groove of things. I've been so busy cleaning and organizing my home, I've had little time to blog.
Time is flying!  I am excited that it brings me one week closer to meeting my new little blessing, but I still want to slowly take in each moment with my babies and this amazing pregnancy journey.

Baby Is the size of: She is definitely growing! Mama is dancing, exercising, kicking, and punching morning, noon, and night. I absolutely LOVE it! I especially enjoy seeing my children's eyes light up when they see my belly wave like the ocean.

Sleep: It's not so bad. I'm starting to get a little more comfortable. My bathroom trips have increased though. I like to think it's God's way of preparing me for the many sleepless nights I will be experiencing soon enough.

Miss Anything? I miss the things I took for granted when I wasn't pregnant. Like bending down, eating and drinking what I pleased without having to check the ingredient labels, going on fun amusement park rides with my kids, etc.

Anything making you nauseous: Not sure if spaghetti still would, but I'm not willing to take that chance!

Have a bump yet? Yup! I can't even count how many people have asked me "are you sure you're not having twins?" UGH!

Gender : GIRL!!! Though many people like to play ultra sound tech and tell me I'm having a boy. Does it really matter how you're carrying?

Belly Button in or out? Half in/ Half out.

Wedding rings on or off? On. I thought I lost it the other day and I went crazy searching everywhere! I feel so lost without it.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy and Thankful

Total weight gain/loss: 30 lbs

Maternity clothes?: Actually, for the first time ever I purchased maternity jeans and 2 shirts from H&M. They're actually pretty cute! As much as I'd love to wear dresses for the rest of my pregnancy, I need to come to reality that the weather is changing and jeans are a definite must!

Stretch marks? The same ones from my other pregnancies.

Exercise of the week: Started a new routine that I'm loving!
Monday- full body Body Pump strength training class, walk 2 miles
Tuesday- Leg Day and elliptical for a mile, walk for a mile
Wednesday- arm, back, shoulder, chest day. elliptical one mile, walk one mile
Thursday- Full body Body Pump strength training class, walk 2 miles
Friday- walk 2 miles
Saturday & Sunday- yoga and 2 mile walks

Happiest moment this week: I've started a new 8 week bible study session that I am LOVING!

Movement: Tons! Mama is a dancer.

Food cravings: I've been wanting sweets a little more this past week.

Labor Signs: No. Just a lot of Braxton Hicks.

Favorite pregnancy product: Coconut oil and aloe gel

Looking forward to: A lot. I look forward to every day that I get to spend with my family. I look forward to the evenings and the mornings when I'm relaxing and I really get to feel little mama dancing in my belly. I look forward to watching my kids play their sports, I am so proud of them. I look forward to my daily private time I have with the Lord. I look forward to my workouts every day. I look forward to my walks with my furbaby Cruz. I look forward to my husband coming home every evening from work.
This week I plan to get a bunch of my baby shopping done which should be fun. Now, I look forward to my new bible study class.

Bump Update! K's 28 Weeks!

How far along? 28 Weeks!! HELLO 3rd TRIMESTER! I cannot believe I am saying that! The first two trimesters flew by so quickly and I am thrilled that this is the last & final trimester before we meet our little girl. I am already so in love with her. I worry that once she is no longer inside my belly, I will wish she was just so I can keep her all to myself and protect her for a little while longer. But I am anxious to meet this little person who will change my life forever.

Baby Is the size of:an Eggplant. By the way she moves, you would think she was the size of a watermelon already. I don't know how it's possible that she can get any bigger and still fit in my belly, but I will soon find out.

Sleep: Not so great anymore. It's starting to get more and more uncomfortable. I get a little light-headed in certain positions now & my left side is so sore by the middle of the night. Plus, I am constantly peeing or waking up thirsty so it's been interesting. I am allowing myself to nap during the day, and luckily my little Ollie boy is the best cuddle partner ever so he's been keeping me company.

Miss Anything? Hot tea! I am on a strict no caffeine diet, so decaf isn't even an option. Now that the weather is cooler, all I want is to wrap myself in a sweater and sip on my favorite cup of green tea. I guess I'll be sticking to hot apple cider this fall.

Anything making you nauseous: I've been watching my intake of spicy foods every since I had an extreme case of chest pain last week. I don't believe it is my acid reflux since I've been through it before and doctors ruled it out last time. However,I'll try  anything to avoid the absolute terrifying pain I went through.

Have a bump yet? Yes! And I went through a growth spurt this week. I was a little achy and extra sleepy for a few days and when I woke up on Sunday my bump had grown noticeably! Such a cool experience.

Gender : Our sweet baby girl.

Belly Button in or out? Half in/ Half out.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but sleepy.

Total weight gain/loss: 15 lbs & growing. I'll find out for sure tomorrow when I go in for my glucose test. Wish me luck!

Maternity clothes? leggings, over-sized tanks and dresses. I'll be doing a little maternity shopping this weekend.

Stretch marks? Some from puberty but none from pregnancy yet.

Exercise of the week: 2+ mile walks daily

Happiest moment this week: Our new carpet is in!!!! And now we can officially start putting up nursery decor. My hubby and I also took our furbaby to this amazing dog park over the weekend, and I just get so much joy out of spending time with our little family. It was just a nice afternoon with me and my two favorite boys :)

Movement: Yes and I can feel it on both sides at the same time now which is so weird! It's especially funny when she kicks out my belly button. I adore this stage.

Food cravings: None this week, although my hubby just bought some cookies 'n cream ice cream and it is calling my name! But, of course, I am banned from chocolate.

Labor Signs: No

Favorite pregnancy product: Coconut oil.

Looking forward to: Spending time with one of our favorite couples in the world this weekend! I don't get to see my bestie too often so I am thrilled that I get to see her face on Sunday!!! It's going to be such a wonderful feel-good day. Just what the doctor ordered!

Leila's Surprise

We surprised Leila today !
I was so excited to purchase a baby doll and all the fun stuff that comes with it for her. She did have a baby doll when she was 2 1/2, but she was obviously too young when I found her drawing scribbles all over the doll's face and body (lol). I've been waiting for the perfect age to finally introduce her to it again. What better time than right before her baby sister is due to arrive?

I went to Target about a month ago and stocked up on the baby doll by Circo line. I wanted to make sure the doll I bought was able to get wet since I wanted to her to learn to give it a bath. So I went with the Circo Feed & Change doll.  I then purchased the Circo diaper bag set, Circo stroller, and Circo bath set.

While Leila and I went out to the store for a few, daddy set everything up for her. When we came home she walked into her playroom and was shocked and so excited! She named her new baby Melissa and immediately wanted to take her out for a walk.  She hasn't let her out of her sight since. :-) I think she will make one amazing big sister.

(don't mind her hair, she said she looks "fancy" and doesn't need her hair done for a picture, lol)

Summer, don't go!

Oh summer, you were so good to us. Does anyone else feel like summer came and went with a blink of an eye? Why do the days seem to fly by? If I could only have just a few more weeks with my babies without crazy schedules and homework. Well, hey at least we had an amazing summer together! It's time I stop my whining and look forward to making this school year just as amazing. Plus, in just 2 short months we will be welcoming another little blessing into our family. So yeah, we are going to have one incredible year.
Here's bits and pieces of our summer in pictures.......

Bump Update: T's 30 Weeks!

How far along? 30 weeks! The countdown is on!

Baby Is the size of: a head of cabbage

Sleep: so my body alarm clock wakes me up around 2 or 3 and I'm UP. Usually lasts an hour and then I'm knocked out again.

Miss Anything? As much as I loathe fast food, especially McD's, I've been craving their fish filet sandwich. I just may break down and snag one real soon.

Anything making you nauseous: It's always been spaghetti. I haven't tried it lately out of fear of a vomit session in the bathroom. :-(

Have a bump yet? Oh yea. Oh and I was asked if I was sure I wasn't having twins by some stranger. Fun! :-/ NOTE: Never ask someone if they're pregnant, NEVER act confused when they say they are 6 months when you think they look 8, NEVER ask if they're sure they aren't having twins, NEVER say anything negative about pregnancy to a pregnant person, NEVER say "oh you poor thing, you're pregnant in the summer", NEVER ask "was this pregnancy planned?".... You're only asking for the stink eye or a well deserved slap.

Gender : Leila's getting her sister!

Belly Button in or out? Out

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Grateful!

Total weight gain/loss: 25 pounds gained
Maternity clothes? Nope, long tanks and dresses. Looking forward to fall fashion too!

Stretch marks? The same ones from my previous pregnancies.
Exercise of the week: Same routine. Changing it up some though.

Happiest moment this week: We went to Lancaster, PA for a few days. It was such a fun little family vacay!

Movement: Tons, it's the best
Food cravings: Not really. I just love food lol
Labor Signs: just the Braxton Hicks
Favorite pregnancy product: Can't live without coconut oil

Looking forward to: As much as I'm dreading it, I'm also excited for my babies to start their new school year. They're looking forward to it. This will be Leila's first year away from me all day every day and it's killing me inside, yet I'm so happy for her.

XO TIERRA!
